For some reason, and with many attempts, I have never been brilliant at making flapjack but at last, my fruity flapjack recipe with a little chocolate on top, is a resounding success!
Full of goodness and of course containing lots of pumpkin and sunflower seeds! If you want to have a go at making, here’s my recipe!
500g Simply SeedZ Apricot & Cranberry Porridge ( or use any of our porridge flavours )
125g soft brown sugar
1 tablespoon golden syrup
Heat oven to 180c and line a baking tray (9 inch)
Melt butter & sugar together in large saucepan
Add syrup and mix.
Add Bircher Muesli & stir thoroughly.
Press into baking tray and bake for approx 30 minutes.
Leave in tin to cool.
Optional topping: melt some dark chocolate and drizzle over cooked flapjack.
Once cooled cut into slices and store in an airtight container. Should keep for a few days, if you can manage to resist!
