Equipment: frying pan & wooden spoon
Ingredients:
50g Pumpkin Seeds
1 tsp rapeseed oil
Rock salt
Method
Simply put the pumpkin seeds into a dry frying pan on high.
Keep stirring the pumpkin seeds, as they start to POP!
The pumpkin kernels will start to brown, within minutes.
Keep stirring and moving the seeds as they cook.
Now add 1tsp of oil to the pumpkin seeds and mix well.
Add a few twists of salt from a salt mill and stir.
Remove the pan from heat. The pan and pumpkin seeds will remain hot, so be careful.
Put onto a piece of kitchen towel paper and leave to cool.
The paper will absorb any excess oil (there will be very little)
Once cooled, transfer to airtight container to use as a snack or sprinkle on salads etc.
