Irresistible Oat cookies (makes approx 12 x cookies)
Oven temp 185c
8oz dark chocolate & Ginger porridge
8oz self raising flour
4oz Demerara sugar
1x desert spoon cinnamon powder
1 beaten egg
Splash of milk
Mix butter, oats, flour , sugar & cinnamon together. Will resemble a crumble mix.
Add egg & a little milk and mix.
Will become a softer sticky consistency.
Line a baking sheet with baking parchment.
Using a desert spoon and a pastry cutter, put a spoonful of mix into the cutter and spread to the edges of the cutter and lift the cutter away.
Using the cutter acts as a guide, if you’ve not got one, just press the mix onto the baking tray in round shapes.
Pop in the oven and bake for approx 15mins until lightly golden. Put on a cooling rack and EAT!!
